Parents, did you take into consideration the loss of time you would have w/ your spouse b4 decidin 2 concieve?

And has the tradeoff been worth it? Or did you do it expressly because you were bored with eachother? My husband and I are going through this debate as we decide when and if to have kids...your thoughtful honest answers will be a lot of help. Thank you!Parents, did you take into consideration the loss of time you would have w/ your spouse b4 decidin 2 concieve?
No. We wanted kids so bad, it didn't matter at the time.

Our social lives changed, however, dramatically. Raising 3 kids is a full time job.

Be sure to make time for each other WEEKLY over the next 20 years. Kids can get in the way of romance and keeping a marriage healthy.Parents, did you take into consideration the loss of time you would have w/ your spouse b4 decidin 2 concieve?
Well you don't have to lose time with your spouse just because your having a child. My husband and I have a son, who is 9, and we are now pregnant with our 2nd child. We always have made time with each other, we go out on the weekends to dinner or to hang out with friends. The trade off is worth it to us, we love our son so much, we wanted to wait until he was older to have another child, so that we could give him everything he wanted. College won't be an issue for either child since they'll be so far apart. We're happy with our decision and it was definitely worth it.
We spend that much more time together. We are both home together every night...our daughter (8) is still in bed by 9 so we have plenty of our own time in the evenings too. If we want a night out - that's what sleepovers and sitters are for...

I did not have my child out of boredom. I've never heard that one before...
